Carolina's First day of school

Today was Carolina's first day of school.  I have her in the early care so that I can drop her off early on my way to work!

She was ready to go and kept asking when we were leaving.  Grandma bought Elena a backpack so she had to put hers on too!

It's time to go!  Bill brought Elena to another room while we snuck out the door, she gets very upset when we leave!  She wants to come too!

When we got to school, Carolina's teacher Miss Donna was there to greet her as well as two other teachers.  They were about 6 other kids there too!  We put her backpack in her cubby and the teachers got her so excited, she was high fiving them and laughing.  She was so happy that she was jumping up and down and laughing!  They really made her feel welcomed!  They said she is so cute and she has a beautiful name and beautiful eyes! 

I said good bye to her and she barely turned her head to me!  Bill picked her up at noon and he said that the teacher said towards the end she started to cry a little.  She went potty there 2 times! Bill also saw our neighbor across the street (they were the ones who recommended the school-their daughter is in the 2 yr old class same days as Carolina)

She also brought home a project....

She told me she wanted to the blue flag not the yellow but Miss Donna told her that the blue was for someone else!  

In her backpack was a note that one of the teachers was going to be on Rachel Ray and that they will be filming at the school soon!  They will be keeping us posted as to when the show will be aired!  Hopefully it will be a day that Carolina is there!  I thought that was pretty cool!  We will keep you posted!

Overall it was a good first day for her!

Tomorrow she is off to GG's house with Grandma and Baby Elena and Aunt Dianne who is up from Florida!  They are sure to have fun!
